Wire Brushing:

The floor is brushed with a hard wire brush to scrape the softer wood from the surface of each plank, leaving only the hardest wood and emphasizing the grain patterns with a three dimensional look.

Hand-Scraping:

Varying levels of hand-scraping can be applied to our wide plank flooring.

Beveled/Eased Edge:

The edges of each hardwood plank are tapered to create a dimensional effect between each board. "Eased-edge" boards typically have a less prominent taper than the traditional "Beveled-edge".  Most of our mills provide micro-beveled unless otherwise specified.

Custom Colors:

By finding the perfect blend of finishes, we can match your color with most of our product line.

Custom Dimensions:

Wood planks that are the same width or an assortment of widths can be chosen for a unique design.

Cerusing:

This process includes staining the wood planks, wire-brushing them, sanding them, then staining them a final time.
